Beautiful Distress was founded on the concept that there is a great deal of mental suffering, that not enough people are aware of this and that not enough is done to stop it.

The Foundation uses art in an attempt to open up the world of psychiatry and battle the stigma attached to it.

Why art? Beautiful Distress believes that art is pre-eminently capable of articulating and depicting the human condition

Finissage tentoonstelling Reality door Yasmijn Karhof & lezing door filosoof Wouter Kusters

Wees van harte welkom op zondag 3 november 2019 voor de finissage van tentoonstelling Reality van Yasmijn Karhof. We sluiten de tentoonstelling af met een lezing over de werkelijkheid en de waanzin door filosoof Wouter Kusters (o.a. auteur van het boek Filosofie van de waanzin) gevolgd door een Q&A met de kunstenaar en een afsluitende borrel.
